A little bit about the Noname 5GD035280B RCD330….
The Noname 5GD035280B model is not typically available in the UK or indeed Europe. It is designed for the Asian and Russian market. We import the model from vendors we have in these markets. We are the only UK and EU company that actually does this. The unit are always removed from vehicles in those countries and this is why they are never advertised as brand new because they removed from vehicles and once removed, they are graded by the vendors.
We only accept Grade A+ models, which have hardly or any imperfections. The Noname 5GD035280B supports both Apple Car Play and Android Auto via USB wired connection. This touchscreen system that gives you a much needed upgrade without the high cost. As standard, it offers FM Radio, Bluetooth, USB and a SD Card Reader (No AUX). You may find some other sellers in different countries selling cheaper but it’s most likely they are either drop-shipping directly from these countries, avoiding taxes and/or selling Grade B/C models. Ours cannot compare as a valid UK company who pays VAT. We also have a 12 month warranty compared to the 30/60/180 day warranty you get from other sellers.

Built in Apple CarPlay CarPlay takes the things you want to do with your iPhone while driving and puts them on your car’s built-in display. You can get directions, make calls, send and receive messages, and listen to music, all in a way that allows you to stay focused on the road. Just connect your iPhone and go. You can also use steering wheel controls. |
Built in Android Auto Android Auto takes the features you love about your Android-powered smartphone and puts them directly in your car’s dashboard. Nifty, huh? It displays information on a familiar, easy-to-use interface with cards you can swipe out of the way, legible menus, and large icons. |

Analogue Radio Listen to all your local FM Radio Stations whilst retaining the OEM look and feel. Links to your existing Roof Antenna. This system does not support RDS Text for FM Radio so it will not show Radio Names or Station Info like on a standard VOLKSWAGEN Radio. This system uses a single FM Fakra. If your existing system is a Double Fakra you will need an adaptor. |
Bluetooth Calls & A2DP Music Streaming The built-in Bluetooth module allows wireless connection of a mobile phone for hands-free communication. A very intuitive user interface makes it very easy to use and the built in microphone makes for easy installation. Bluetooth also enables audio streaming from the phone: audio content or even internet radio can be wirelessly transferred to your 5GD035280B. |

Media Inputs You have the choice of playing your music via a range of different ways if you don’t have a Bluetooth or CarPlay enabled device. You have the option of SD Card, USB or 3.5mm Aux. |
Park Pilot / OPS Supported If your vehicle has Genuine Rear or Front & Rear Optical Parking Sensors then when you engage reverse with the RCD 330 Plus it will show a visual representation on screen as per factory. |

Original Desay SV RCD330+ Stock Head Unit The VW RCD330 PLUS MIB Composition Media Touch Head unit from Volkswagen is designed to be compatible with the VW Golf MK7, Tiguan MK2 & Passat B8. It is direct fit without any modification to any of compatible VW vehicles. The RCD330 Plus head unit is definitely something that will grant up to dated features and strong reliability as being an OEM radio from Volkswagen. |
Works With Steering Wheel Remote Buttons If your vehicle is equipped with control buttons on the steering wheel, you can use them with the head unit as well. The Android system is fully connected to the vehicle electronics and accepts all steering controls such as volume control, track control and audio mute. This is yet another feature that contributes to comfort and driving safety in your vehicle. |

Installation Accessories Depending on your vehicle you may need one of the items show above. It maybe the aerial adaptor, the camera input cable or the signal timer relay. We offer both these cables, so should you require let us know and we will point you in the right direction. Aerial wise, the RCD330 accepts the single fakra, so our AL369 adaptor is used often. |
Rear View Reverse Camera We offer a massive range of rear view cameras. We have a large range of bespoke fit cameras and we also have a comprehensive universal fit camera range too. We have a huge range available. You will need to add the RVCRCD330 AV input cable with the stereo to be able to accept a camera. You may require the VAGCOM to enable the camera function on your vehicle. |
VEHICLE COMPATIBILITY LIST
The 6.5″ MQB 5GD035280B RCD330 head unit is suitable for the following models on the VW MQB 52 way platform. The unit is fitted with the 52 way MQB plug and twin FAKRA connection directly on the back of the radio. But it is also supplied with a MQB to PQ adaptor cable, a twin FAKRA to single FAKRA aerial adaptor and the 12 pin camera input cable.

Designed for the original MIB1 fascia panel. If you don’t have that, you can obtain it (see note #5). There are important fitment notes for this radio, see below.
